Hikoi for the Waikirirkiri - Short Documentary 2016

Over four days in September 2016, a passionate group of local residents walked the length of the Selwyn Waikirikiri River, from Whitecliffs to Te Waihora Lake Ellesmere. The Selwyn Waikirikiri River is one of New Zealand’s most polluted waterways, according to a recent survey. These people are walking for change, they walk to raise awareness about the poor health of this river.
