A Space Odyssey

Looking out into the dark sky we call night,
I saw the space between the light.
This blanket smothers us, a darkness,
some tiny flickering holes.

I travel fast, through the gaps, long space, fat time,
a stroll through hollows.
an adventure in gaps.
Depressions and subversions - the portals
between so much time
lost in space.
an emptiness betwixt.
all the moments that were,
numerous, multitudinous, voluminous
yet we know so few - a scarcity
a void amidst instants.
a voyage of holes.
